The Gorgol as the locals call it, is without a doubt, the ravine star of the Tena Valley and the area of Panticosa. In the heart of an ancient beech forest, where legends tell of Güixas (witches), there is a great canyon of easy level, which has everything... skills, slides, jumps and an abseil over a waterfall of 15m, we will descend between springs of pure and crystalline water, submerged in walls between orange vaults of more than 30m, undoubtedly one of the most special canyons of the Pyrenees.

    How to get there

Arriving at Tramacastilla de TenaAt the Town Hall Square, turn left just behind the fountain, towards the Betato forestFollow the track respecting our surroundings and after the bridge where we will see the ravine, after 150 mtrs. we will be able to park.

From Piedrafita de Jaca, the track leaves the village from the main road to the right before reaching the village. Follow the track until 150 metres before reaching the bend where the ravine descends.

    Approach

From where we left the car we can see a wide track that goes into the forest, follow it, the first slope must be taken calmly and when we reach the first junction of paths, take the one on the right that makes a 180º curve to our right side.

This is a straight stretch on a narrower track that takes us through beech trees, we continue uphill but the path is short, we zigzag along in the same direction and at the end where it seems that the steep slope ends, we will go northeast to begin the descent that will take us towards the water, we will descend along the bed of a small ravine that we will have in front of us on the left.
