From the towering peaks of Gorenjska and the stunning river trails of the Soca Valley to the massive limestone caves of the Karst region and the forests of the Nanos Plateau in the south of the country, there are endless opportunities for tough climbs, long descents and technical trails, as well as slow, scenic rides along lakeshores and through vineyard-fringed landscapes, making it a perfect destination for the avid mountain biker. With a diverse landscape, Slovenia is an idyllic mountain biking destination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Most routes can be done from spring to autumn; some in the more clement south can be done in winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The routes are located in Gorenjska, the Soca Valley, southern, central and northeastern Slovenia and vary from 12 to 59 km. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
