Very popular with German hikers, but little known outside Germany, the 570km Traumpfad or 'Dream Way' will delight you with breathtaking scenery. An alpine route from Munich's Mari\u00ebnplatz to Venice's Piazza San Marco, the route passes through German Bavaria and then Austria before entering Italy's Tyrol, taking advantage of the region's extensive network of mountain huts to stay in along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This trek can be an excellent introduction to long-distance hiking in the Alps. No previous experience of alpine walking is necessary, as the route is suitable for more novice hikers; however, it is essential to have some skill in somewhat technical environments and not to have vertigo in them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be no accommodation problems along the route. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
