It follows established mountain and valley paths to traverse the length of the Austrian state of Tyrol from east to west. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It crosses the Austrian Tyrol from east to west through a series of mountain ranges, Wilder Kaiser, Rofan and Karwendel, passing under the Zugspitze and through the Lechtaler Alpen;
