Now that the heat is getting hotter, it's a good idea to get to know the natural jewels that the Pyrenees have to offer for a good dip. We are going to visit some of the natural pools of the Aragonese Pyrenees. There is something for everyone: for those who want to contemplate the marvellous views, for those who prefer to spend a quiet day with the family and, of course, for those who are looking for thrills.

Located in the Somontano region, this waterfall is in the course of the Alcanadre river and is one of the most spectacular in the Aragonese Pyrenees, especially since it was the scene of a Samsung advert. Until a few days ago, locals and visitors alike enjoyed jumping from its dam of more than eight metres highHowever, the town council of Bierge has just banned it in order to avoid possible accidents and the saturation of the area.

It is a large natural pool, with clear, cold water, which forms the River Ara as it passes through the municipality of Boltañajust under the bridge. It is an ideal place to go with children, as it is a bathing area suitable for all ages, a beautiful place to dive this summer!

This place is so special that in summer the influx of visitors soars. Located in the vicinity of the Añisclo Canyon, it is the perfect spot to take a break during your visit to this part of the Ordesa and Monte Perdido Natural Park. This section of the Bellós river, at the height of Puyarruego -In the photo above, you can take a dip, enjoy a small waterfall and some crystal-clear -and quite cold- pools where you can submerge yourself and enjoy yourself like a child. Afterwards you can continue by car to the Añisclo Canyon and drive along its narrow, shady and beautiful road -one-way during the summer months-.

They have higher salt concentration than the waters of the Dead Sea. These salt pools located in Naval, in the Somontano region, are ideal if you are looking to relax or take care of yourself under its therapeutic waters. Thalassotherapy helps people with skin problems and psychological problems, as it reduces stress. The Naval salt mine not only offers five pools but also the opportunity to stay there or to take guided tours of the area's historical heritage.

And if you love heights, don't miss the chance to dive into a lake. Remember, however, that the water can be very cold, as you know that the lakes are glacial lakes located at an altitude of over 1,500 metres above sea level. They are idyllic places to enjoy the fresh air and unbeatable views of the Pyrenees.

Wherever you are, this summer the natural pools
the natural pools of the Pyrenees are perfect for the whole family to enjoy and
cool off from the high summer temperatures.

Now that the heat is getting hotter, it is a good idea to get to know the natural jewels that the Pyrenees have to offer for a good dip.
