This is how I did it. I places my Canon 6d on a tripod and connected my phone to the built in WiFi. Then I scrambled over to the spot that where I wanted to be and took the photo. The photo itself was taking while on the Itswoot Ridge in the North Cascades of WA while attempting the Ptarmigan Traverse during late season with @scott_kranz.
