In fact, the garment production process, which includes transforming raw materials into materials suitable for the creation of mountain clothing, has an adverse effect on the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\nFor example, in the conventional textile industry, it is known that at least 8000 chemicals are used to transform raw materials into the textiles needed for clothing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also according to statistics provided by the non-profit organisation Earth Pledge, 25% of pesticides and insecticides used worldwide are intended to accelerate and protect the cultivation of non-organic cotton. This leads to irreversible damage to some people, not to mention the environment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
3.<\/strong> Because it is a trend. Sustainable clothing, especially mountain clothing, is really booming. It has never been so easy for large chains and independent companies to make inroads into this sector, which has fewer and fewer limitations.<\/p>\n\n\n\nToday, many companies that have opted for this option have found that producing fabrics from used plastics means at least 50% less energy use and also generates one third less CO2. In short, creating plastic fabric using recycled materials is also very cost-effective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For this reason, more and more small and medium sized companies are joining the sustainable clothing movement, achieving important advances with extraordinary designs, removing from the minds of buyers the erroneous perception that it is hippie, ugly or trashy clothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And it has to be said, a few decades ago, at the beginning of this trend, the garments were not very aesthetic or trend-setting. Nowadays, however, the situation is completely different, as the designs, models and utilities have nothing to envy to clothes made with conventional materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
