This is how the reception of texts for the competition ended. <\/p><p>Quality, originality, creativity... The jury has a hard time selecting the two winning micro-stories this year. I can vouch for that. <\/p><p>We are pleased to announce the two selected texts that will receive the competition prizes (<a href=\"#bases\">see the bases<\/a>).<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>FIRST PRIZE<\/strong>Maite Pariente Aylagas \/\u00a0<strong>METAMORPHOSIS<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>SECOND PRIZE<\/strong>\u00cd\u00f1igo Pinillos Parra \/<strong>\u00a0THE LAST METRES<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><p>On the other hand, as in the last edition, we will collect all the micro-stories in a book to give them the presence they deserve and to correspond in some way to the care that all the participants have put into them. We will also be sharing them here and on the <a href=\"https:\/\/travesia.substack.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><em>newsletter <\/em>weekly<\/a>.<\/p><p>On behalf of the whole Traves\u00eda Pirenaica team, we would like to thank you, because the Community is what gives meaning to what we do.<\/p><hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"bases\">Approach and rules of the competition<\/h2><p>Following the great reception of the <a href=\"https:\/\/travesiapirenaica.com\/en\/micro-story-competition\/\">first edition of the mountain micro-story competition \"Relatos de Altura\".<\/a>We are pleased to announce the second edition of the competition, which exceeded all expectations.<\/p><p>Let's hope that this year the success of participation will be repeated and that we will have a competition for many more years to come. All hands on deck! You have until 31 December to send us your short stories (max: 150 words).<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Object<\/h3><p>Traves\u00eda Pirenaica announces the <strong>II Mountain Micro-story Competition \"Relatos de Altura\".<\/strong><\/p><p>The aim of the competition is to combine the passion for the mountains with the pleasure and talent for writing.<\/p><p>The winners of the micro-story competition will receive the following prizes:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1st prize: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smartbox.com\/es\/nuestras-smartbox\/estancias\/de-viaje-por-aragon-y-pirineos-549940.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aragon and Pyrenees Travel Gift Box<\/a> (valued at \u20ac119.9).<\/li>\n\n<li>2nd prize: <a href=\"https:\/\/piriniar.com\/tienda\/hbc5nxhlqyajffz7763ygic66buirn-45wae-kdgky\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pyrenean map Piriniar Original<\/a> (valued at \u20ac39).<\/li><\/ul><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Competition rules:<\/h3><ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Participation is open to individuals of any age.<\/li>\n\n<li>The micro-story must be written in Spanish, be original and unpublished.<\/li>\n\n<li>The theme of the micro-stories will be set against the backdrop of the mountains.<\/li>\n\n<li>The length of the micro-stories must not exceed one <strong>maximum 150 words<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n<li>Micro-stories that violate the dignity of others or contain adult, violent, xenophobic, xenophobic, racist or defamatory content will not be accepted.<\/li>\n\n<li>Each participant may submit a maximum of one micro-story.<\/li>\n\n<li>The <strong>time limit <\/strong>to send the micro-stories <strong>shall start on 21 November and expire on 31 December inclusive.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n<li>No short stories will be accepted after the deadline and, in general, any that do not comply with the conditions set out in these rules.<\/li>\n\n<li>To participate, you must send an email to the following address<strong> <a href=\"mailto:info@travesiapirenaica.com\">info@travesiapirenaica.com<\/a><\/strong> with the <strong>subject \"II contest \"Relatos de Altura<\/strong>by attaching two files in PDF format.<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>One with the <strong>short story<\/strong>. The name of the file will bear the title of the micro-story.<\/li>\n\n<li>Another with the <strong>participant's details<\/strong>. The file name will be the title of the short story followed by \"_author\". It shall include:<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Title of the story<\/li>\n\n<li>Name and surname<\/li>\n\n<li>Address<\/li>\n\n<li>Contact details: (telephone and\/or e-mail address).<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol><\/li>\n\n<li>There will be<strong> two winners<\/strong>.
