An agreement that allows the festival to continue to expand the proposal of the Huesca event focused on mountain, adventure and nature films. \"It is an important step forward, and at the same time a natural step for the festival due to its own essence and name\", declares David Asensio, director of the film event. The news comes in a year marked in the calendar of Huesca and Tarbes itself, as they celebrate the 60th anniversary of their twinning, \"we connect through cinema both sides of the Pyrenees and serve as a bridge for two societies that are celebrating more than half a century of union\" concludes Asensio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PMFF Tour will arrive in April at the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre des Nouveaut\u00e9s in the French city, when the public will be able to see a selection of the 21 short films competing between 19 and 24 February for a prize of 6,000 euros. An initiative that was born on the basis of a solid provincial cooperation, to later take the national step and now finally to meet the international challenge. Currently, as well as touring the whole of Upper Aragon, it also reaches other Aragonese territories, Andalusia, the Basque Country, the Valencian Community and now France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Pyrenees Mountain Film Festival 2023\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/J3vO9Muov48?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>REGISTRATION OPEN FOR THE IV TRAIL \"HOYA DE HUESCA\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pyrenees Mountain Film Festival also has an important sports area, for which this year it is once again adding the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https%3A%2F%2Fp-guara.com%2Fwordpress%2Fsecciones%2Fcarreras-por-montana-2%2Fcarreras-por-montana-2024%2Fivo-trail-hoya-de-huesca%2F&amp;sa=D&amp;sntz=1&amp;usg=AOvVaw1jC25PQJ9lE7zUxpmAoqXZ\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">IV \"Hoya de Guara\" Trail<\/a>. A competitive race organised by Pe\u00f1a Guara that returns to the calendar after a lethargy caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Four years later, on Sunday 18 February, runners will once again take part in this sporting event on one of its two routes: 26K and 16K.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The routes will start from the Palacio de Congresos in Huesca and will pass through some of the region's most important natural and heritage sites, such as the Montearag\u00f3n Castle or the Saso de Tierz Trenches. The winners will win lots of gastronomic products and bottles of homemade vermouth in a trophy ceremony that will put the finishing touch before the competition screenings that will start on Monday 19th in the Olimpia Theatre, \"it is the perfect preamble for a whole week where the mountain, sport and adventure will be the protagonists\" explains David Asensio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https%3A%2F%2Fapuntame.click%2Fevento%2Ftrail-hoya-de-huesca-2024&amp;sa=D&amp;sntz=1&amp;usg=AOvVaw0UHt2tlnBtrsW48_kruluz\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">registrations<\/a>&nbsp;are open until 13 February (although runners will be accepted until the day of the race for a surcharge of \u20ac5) and the fee entitles you to a runner's bag, toilets and showers, medical assistance and cloakroom.
