All my life, up the mountain, down the mountain. I've always liked it too; don't think I don't enjoy it, but yours is different. Up on the peak, your gaze is lost. I want to follow you, but I know you've plunged into the immensity. Your eyes shine, your pupils dilate, your smile lights up. I must confess that I feel jealous when I see how happy it makes you.

Who would have thought that, at this stage of my life and with sore knees, I would come back to accompany you to another peak? I struggle. I have to stop to catch my breath and lower my heart rate, but I manage to get there. At the top, the view is breathtaking: snow-capped peaks and clear skies.

I open the urn and the wind carries you, the mountain embraces you and, at last, I leave you where you have always been.
you wanted to be.
