The Mallos de Riglos<\/strong> are, above all, a natural spectacle. Located in the outer mountain range of the Pyrenees<\/strong> -Pre-Pyrenees-, are the result of their formation. When the Pyrenees were born, some thirty-five million years ago, the rocky remains that were left over ended up here, and time and erosion gave rise to these magnificent rock giants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are named after the small village, Riglos<\/strong>The village is shaded by the towering massifs. In this village you can find one of the best views of the the Mallos<\/strong>if you don't climb to the heights. The best panoramic view is at the entrance to the village, at the monument dedicated to the Aragonese mountaineers Alberto R\u00e1bada and Ernesto Navarro, who died in the Swiss Alps in 1963.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is something hypnotic about contemplating these masses, as there is with the sea or the fire. You don't need to be a climber to admire their beauty and immensity, although those who are passionate about heights will find here extra motivation for climbing, via ferrata, base jumping... The routes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For lovers of climbing, if you go to the Pyrenees, it is impossible not to enjoy this sport in the Mallos de Riglos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each of these stone giants, with vertical walls of up to 300 metres, has its own name. Some are very graphic, such as \"el puro\" or \"los cuchillos\" and others as descriptive as \"el pared\u00f3n de los buitres\" or climbing routes such as \"la fiesta del b\u00edceps\". <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to get there<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To get to this picturesque place, you have to take the A-132 road from the city of Huesca for about 30 kilometres. village of Riglos<\/strong>at the foot of the Mallos de Riglos. In this place you will find most of the necessities and services, such as water, food, bars and hotels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To access the climbing routes, you must take the village as a starting point. Then you just have to follow the indicated path, which is all signposted and will lead you to the mallos and the climbing routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
