At almost 1,200 metres above sea level, you can find Panticosa<\/strong>a beautiful town in Huesca based on tourism, bathed by the waters of the river Caldar\u00e9s. The relics of the previous century that this town preserves give it an ancient and mysterious air that is well worth experiencing, with its steeply sloping streets and extensive spaces with a touch of beauty. Another great asset of this town is its Romanesque-style bridge<\/strong> over the river, which is more than 400 years old.<\/p>\n

It also has a Romanesque church<\/strong>It was first built in the 12th century, although it underwent major remodelling until it had an Aragonese Gothic appearance, which dates back to the 16th century and of which a magnificent altarpiece dedicated to the Assumption stands out, sculpted mainly in alabaster.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the great tide of tourism that passes through the city every year, many more buildings of all kinds have been constructed to renovate the town.<\/p>\n

In the surroundings of Panticosa we can find the Tena Valley<\/strong><\/a>with several ski resorts<\/strong><\/a>and the Panticosa Spa<\/strong><\/a>It has been known since the time of the Roman Empire and has great properties thanks to the richness of its waters.<\/p>\n

As for the sports<\/strong> The leaders can be expected to be those with a high level of mountain<\/strong>The area is ideal for both climbing and cycling, as well as hiking and other high-altitude sports. Nor should we forget that Panticosa has a wide variety of water sports for you to enjoy.<\/p>\n

If, on the other hand, you decide to go to Panticosa during the summer<\/strong>You should know that the temperature in the mountains is very pleasant, it is the time to organise routes or excursions on foot or by bicycle, you will be able to enjoy mountains of more than three kilometres high. Although summer and winter are ideal, there is no bad time for these mountain activities.<\/p>\n
