{"id":6449,"date":"2023-07-26T18:14:00","date_gmt":"2023-07-26T16:14:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/travesiapirenaica.com\/?p=6449"},"modified":"2024-06-19T10:27:26","modified_gmt":"2024-06-19T08:27:26","slug":"waterfall-spiky","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/travesiapirenaica.com\/en\/cascada-espigantosa\/","title":{"rendered":"Eriste Valley: Espigantosa Waterfall"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Espigantosa waterfall, a waterfall of about 20 metres high, well known for being next to the car park where the route up to the Posets or Llardana (3,369m) starts, passing through the Angel Or\u00fas or Forcau refuge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-theme-palette-7-background-color has-background\">It is known as <strong>Royal Route<\/strong>This route can be taken in the village of Eriste\/Grist if you want to walk up to see the waterfall and goes up the Aig\u00fceta de Eriste ravine, passing places such as the Tramarrius Bridge or the old Freixenal lead smelter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Route to the Espigantosa waterfall<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/es.wikiloc.com\/wikiloc\/embedv2.do?id=19484113&#038;elevation=off&#038;images=off&#038;maptype=H\" width=\"600\" height=\"500\"><\/iframe><div style=\"color:#777;font-size:11px;line-height:16px;\">Powered by&nbsp;<a style=\"color:#4C8C2B;font-size:11px;line-height:16px;\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/es.wikiloc.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Wikiloc<\/a><\/div><\/center>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Waterfall of Espigantosa<\/strong> is located in the<strong> Eriste Valley<\/strong>It is one of the wonders of nature that you must visit in the valley. Specifically, this beauty is in the <strong>river These<\/strong>more specifically in the <strong>Aigueta ravine<\/strong> of Eriste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to get a closer look at it, you should take the car and drive in the direction of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/travesiapirenaica.com\/en\/benasque\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"undefined (opens in new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Benasque<\/a><\/strong>. Barely 300 metres further on, you will come to a fork to the left, on the road to the <strong>Angel Or\u00fas shelter<\/strong>. Be careful on the next stretch because, although it is an asphalted road, it is really narrow. The path is really short, the <strong>excursion<\/strong> to reach the waterfall can be around 15-20 min.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cross a bridge that crosses the river and go up several metres along the path until you come to a small fork to the left. Once you have taken this path, you will find yourself in front of the imposing <strong>La Espigantosa waterfall<\/strong>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Espigantosa waterfall is located in the Benasque Valley, and is one of the natural wonders you must visit in the valley.
