Altitude: 3355m

Situation:

Aragonese Pyrenees, at the head of the Ordesa and Ordesa valleys. Pineta.

When to go:

From June to the end of September (note the snow on the entire route at the beginning of the period).

Difficulties of the route:

The ascent is easy but a bit long on the normal route. The ascent takes just over three hours. As mentioned above, there is a complicated pass at the so-called "escupidera".

Complicated sections:

- Walk over snowfields and huge masses of fallen rocks.

- There is a step to reach the summit, the spittoon, which is usually icy, and although if we have the necessary experience and equipment it should not be a problem, it is usually a black spot on the ascent of Monte Perdido, with many accidents.

Recommended equipment:

Ice axe and crampons even in summer
- Walking sticks to facilitate progress up rocky cliffs
- Sufficient water reserves.

Altitude: 3355m Location: Aragonese Pyrenees, at the head of the Ordesa and Pineta valleys.
