Situation:
Aragonese Pyrenees, at the head of the Aurín Valley, between the towns of Jaca and Sabiñánigo.
When to go:
From the beginning of July to the end of October.
Difficulties of the route:
Medium difficulty, especially on the northern slope.
Complicated sections:
- Slightly overhead and sloping chimney.
- Steep ramps throughout the climb, with loose material.
- The whole ascent takes almost 3.5 hours, not counting the descent.
Recommended equipment:
- Suitable boots and poles for the descent are very useful.
- Sunglasses and sunscreen.
