Situation:

French Pyrenees, at the head of the Lutour valley, with access by Cauterets.

When to go:

From the beginning of July to the end of October.

Difficulties of the route:

Low difficulty on the route through the Lutour valley and the Labas pass. Two hours ascent from the Estom hut, which we recommend approaching on the previous day.

Complicated sections:

  • Not described.

Recommended equipment:

  • Suitable boots with crampons and ice axe if climbing out of season.
  • Sunglasses and sunscreen.
