The via ferrata of Foradada del Toscar

How to get there
On the N-260 leaving from Aínsa in the direction of Campo, Cross the municipality of Samper and continue in the direction of Foradada del Toscar. One kilometre before reaching the village turn left, there is a signpost at the lances that you will see on your right. From there you can continue along the dirt track - only suitable for off-road vehicles - to an esplanade delimited with stones, or leave the car at the beginning of the track and continue on foot - about 20 minutes' walk - until you reach the signpost for the via ferrata.

The first section of the via ferrata, which takes about an hour, is the most vertical and the steepest. Then comes a second section in which you have to descend part of what you have climbed, cross a Nepalese bridge and keep on climbing, going through a succession of stapled walls and stretches between trees.
If you want to take a break you can do it in a small flat space, a natural ledge with a capacity for three people, where you can enjoy the views, the Peña Montañesa and the surroundings of Aínsa, before continuing uphill.
Once you have reached the summit it is time to climb up, a task that can be more difficult than the climb itself, as sometimes you can't see where to put your feet and the distance between clamps can force you to stretch your arms a lot. At the back of the mallo we come across the second suspension bridge of the route, which is somewhat easier to cross than the Nepalese route and which you can see in this photo.
The way back requires special attention, as there is quite a steep slope and the terrain can be slippery, although there are several sections equipped with ropes.
