Good impression
-by Herminia Dionis Piquero-.
Fearless beloved:
You wanted to impress me, so we went on an excursion to a mountain rich in crags in the very eyes of the Pyrenees.
I didn't find the reason for this tortuous walk until we reached the summit.
From there, a thousand tea blossoms threw their feathers into the wind-driven horizon.
But the fragility of these petals was deceptive; the roots that nourished them were strong enough.
You insisted on making an infusion with them, you kept on with the fixed idea of making me tender and, disregarding the dangers, you bowed boldly.
With the effort of pulling them out and the gravity that attracts without remedy, you lost your balance, falling in a three-thousand-metre scream, only to say no more.
Today, a year later and from the same precipice, I throw this letter to you into the void in case your gaze remains unbroken and you want to know.
Yes, you managed to impress me.
