Alternative medicine

I was lost, I had no one to turn to and I didn't know what else to do. Again. Again that anguish that squeezed his chest and wouldn't let him breathe. His solution was always the same: take the car, drive a few hours and walk to the top to breathe. And he decided to do it again. But this time, the outcome was different.

Normally, he would go up to where the sun went down, walk for a few hours and when he arrived he would find his peace and calm down. But this time, it didn't happen. He arrived, and simply nothing happened. And after waiting a few hours, he decided to go down. He got to the car and realised that by the time he left the city, his anguish had subsided. It had disappeared as he began to walk, but all he could think about was getting to the top to breathe. Then he understood that what saved him was not the destination, it was the path.
