    Pineta - Parzán

↔️ Distance: Parzán 20.3kms. Urdiceto track 21.7 kms.
    📈 Unevenness (+971 m), (-1.028 m) 📉
    🕒 Time: 6h35min (travel time) non-stop)
⚠️ Difficulty: It does not present any special difficulties.
💧 Water: We will find several springs and streams along the entire stage.

📌 (0h00min; 0.0kms) Pineta Refuge (1240m). To reach the Pradera de Pineta we have two alternatives, both marked as GR11. The first, more direct, follows the path that runs parallel to the road (2kms; 30min). The second is along the original route (2.9kms; 45min), which does not pass by the Pineta refuge. For this second option we will return on the previous stage (signs at the Collado de Añisclo, Góriz, etc.) to the place of the Inglatas, crossing the river again💧 (without a bridge) until a junction 10 minutes later.

At this point we resume the path that descends from the Collado de Añisclo and heads towards the Pradera de Pineta. The path begins attached to the wall - over which some of the rocks slide down. streams💧- to continue down the valley among a variety of tree species, pines, firs, wild pines, beeches, and other trees. After connecting with a trail, we reach an old camping area (no longer allowed), under the Circo de Pineta.

📌 (0h45min; 2.9kms) Pineta Pradera (1,272m). Parking, tourist office, public restrooms and source. Turn right onto the track and cross the bridge over the Cinca river that leads to the road. Continue left on the road in the direction of the stop for about 250 meters, until you reach the Ermita de Nuestra Señora de Pineta (source). A sign points to the Llanos de La Larri. The trail climbs between the hayfields of Selva Pochas until it meets the track that climbs from the meadow. Taking the shortcuts, we soon reach the…

📌 (1h35min; 4.6kms) Llanos de La Larri (1.575m). The view towards the Pineta Circus is spectacular.

The plains of the Larri are an area of meadows where cattle graze peacefully. Geologically, it is a hanging valley, that is, formed by a glacier that poured its ice onto another of greater size and, therefore, deeper.

The trail ends here. To the right is the Refuge of La Larri. The GR11 continues ascending along the Cuesta de la Rivareta in an east-northeast direction. Once in the pine forest, at an altitude between 1850m and 1900m, the trail changes direction and heads south out of the forest. A small ascent over clear terrain brings us to the Plana Es Corders. At the end of the same, we pass a stream💧 and a pillar with source💧 that we left 50 meters to the left. We continue climbing. We cross the track that comes from Espierba to La Estiva and by a shortcut we reach the…

📌 (3h10min; 7.7kms) Colladeta de la Plana Fonda (2.103m), crossed by the track. Turning left along the track 350m away is the La Estiva livestock shelter. Beneath this there is a pillar next to a spring💧. From the colladeta we continue east, slightly downhill, towards Plana Fonda. The track becomes blurred and instead the tracks made by the SUVs on the grass appear. In 12 minutes we reach a source💧. At the end of the plain the path turns to the left and faces the climb up to...

📌 (3h40min; 9.1kms) Collado de las Coronetas or of Pietramula (2,159m). The trail descends alongside a stream, Among the meadows, to the…

📌 (4h15min; 10.5kms) Plana de Petramula (2.156m), where it connects after crossing a bridge with the track that climbs from Chisagües. The GR11 descends all the time along the track that runs through the valley over the River Real, wedged between the Secreta de Chemenas to the north, and the Sierra de Espierba to the south. Along the entire descent we will find streams💧. In half an hour we arrived at a parking area next to the Brunet (stall) fence. The track continues downhill, leaving aside another herd of livestock huts.

📌 (5h45min; 17.1kms) Chisagüés (1,400m). We will continue by road until the last hay bend before reaching Parzán. Here we have the option of going down to…

📌 (6h35min; 20.3kms) Parzán (1,130m) by following a path for 10 minutes, or continuing in the direction of Urdiceto (next stage). If we continue towards Urdiceto/Viadós, we will continue along the road for about 400m until we see a path on the left that leads to a reservoir. Shortly after, we reach a canal (covered by concrete slabs). We will continue above this for about 300 meters. We pass a channelized ravine and continue along a path between the forest, parallel to the road. At 700 meters, the GR11 descends to the road, at the height of the path leading to the Urdiceto pass.

    📌 (6h55min; 21.7kms) A-138 road – Urdiceto track (1,400m).
