    Malniu - Guils - Puigcerdà

    ↔️ Distance: 14.4 km
    📈 Unevenness (+110), (-1.100) 📉
    🕒 Time: 4h00min (running time non-stop)
    ⚠️ Difficulty: easy.
💧 Water: We will find water in Malniu, refuge of Feixa, Guils, Saneja and Puigcerdà.

📌 (0h00min; 0 kms) Malniu Refuge (2,130m). Source. Leave the refuge via the track that descends to Merangues. Leave it shortly afterwards and continue to the left, along a path that runs through undulating terrain between pine forests until you reach the track that goes from Malniu to the Nordic ski resort of Guils-Fontanera. We follow it to the left (East).

📌 (0h55min; 2.7 kms) Refuge of La Feixa (2,165m), Located at the foot of the runway, 100m down there is one source💧 (from La Feixa). The GR11 does not reach the refuge; it veers to the right 200m before, passing through the grassy fields (Pla de la Feixa). We cross a path that comes from the refuge in a north-south direction and begin the long descent to Cerdanya. After a kilometer we cross a track on the Pla de la Fontanera (near the ski resort) and we cross an area affected by the fire on the Puig de Peransau. The path descends quickly towards Guils following parallel to the stream of Mata de l’Ós in the final stretch.

📌 (2h50min; 9.4 kms) Guils de Cerdanya (1,380m). Source. From here to the end of the stage, the GR11 runs through the bottom of the wide valley of Cerdanya, between fields of crops and largely following the GIV-4035 road. We pass the small village of Saneja, source💧 at the entrance and source💧 in the square, and we continue on the road until we reach…

    📌 (4h00min; 14.4 km) Puigcerdà (1,155m).
