Situation:
French and Geronese Pyrenees, near the Vallter 2000 ski resort.
When to go:
From mid-June to mid-October.
Difficulties of the route:
It is not a complicated ascent. It takes about three hours to climb from the Ulldeter refuge.
Complicated sections:
- All you have to do is climb its final ridge to the top.
Recommended equipment:
– Ice axe and crampons almost indispensable out of season.
- Waterproof boots and gaiters.
- Very useful walking poles in the middle of the summer season.
- Sunglasses and sunscreen.
