    Situation:

    French Pyrenees, head of the Artigou valley and northern end of the Aulon valley (Hautes Pyrénées).


    When to go:

    From the beginning of July to the end of October.


    Difficulties of the route:

    Low difficulty on the southern slope (Aulon), about 4h30 ascent.


    Complicated sections:

    - Only the Aurey Gap because of the difficult terrain.


    Recommended equipment:

    - Waterproof boots and walking stick.
    - Sunglasses and sunscreen.
    Ice axe and crampons in winter conditions
