Situation:
Aragonese and French Pyrenees, at the head of the Chistau valleys and the Hautes-Pyrénées Department.
When to go:
From mid-June to the beginning of October. Classic route for ski touring in winter.
Difficulties of the route:
Medium-low difficulty, at least on the Viadós slope. Up to 4h45 of ascent.
Complicated sections:
- Quite an aerial ridge just before the summit.
Recommended equipment:
- Appropriate boots.
- Carry sufficient water reserves.
- Sunglasses and sunscreen.
- Ice axe and crampons in winter conditions
