    Situation:

    Aragonese and French Pyrenees, at the head of the Tena valleys and between the Departments of the Hautes-Pyrénées and the Atlantic Pyrenees.


    When to go:

    From mid-June to the beginning of October.


    Difficulties of the route:

    Medium difficulty. There are two classic ascents, both of which are difficult: the Latour Gap route and the ascent of the Gran Diagonal.


    Complicated sections:

    - Complicated and aerial Latour Gap, especially in snow; without snow, watch out for loose stones.
    - The ascent along the Gran Diagonal also requires climbing.


    Recommended equipment:

    - Appropriate boots.
    - Stringing material.
    - Sunglasses and sunscreen.
    Ice axe and crampons in winter and off-season conditions may be necessary.
