Situation:
Aragonese and French Pyrenees, head of the Panticosa, Sallent and Marcadau Valleys.
When to go:
From the beginning of June to the end of October.
Difficulties of the route:
Long hike, more than four hours, which requires good physical preparation.
Complicated sections:
- Final edge a little overhead, but not complicated.
Recommended equipment:
- Waterproof shoes, and gaiters appreciated.
- Very useful walking sticks.
- Sunglasses and sunscreen, especially on the descent.
- Ice axe and crampons in winter conditions
