Practical guide
When to go?
Spring (April to June) and autumn (September and October), avoiding the summer heat, are the best times for walking, but also the busiest. Winter can be magical and quiet, although many accommodation providers and restaurants are closed (low season) and the weather can be wild and stormy.

Sentiero Verde Azzurro
This 2 km, 5-hour excursion is the most famous and classic of the Cinque Terre excursions: it allows you to visit the five villages of Cinque Terre and to pass through splendid coastal environments.
The route is divided into 4 parts, the most famous of which ("Via dell'Amore") takes about 20 minutes to cover.
