Situation:
Lleida Pyrenees, in the San Mauricio y Aguas Tuertas National Park.
When to go:
From the end of June to mid-October.
Difficulties of the route:
High difficulty; there are IIº and IIº+ passes that require climbing equipment (at least on the descent), starting from the Mallafré refuge and through its north channel (between 3h45 and 4h of ascent).
Complicated sections:
- The ascent route is full of them and can be made difficult by the state of the snow on the snowfields. It is better to descend by a different route to the one marked for the ascent.
Recommended equipment:
- Trekking boots.
- Crampons and ice axe out of season. Roping and climbing equipment.
- Sunglasses and sunscreen.
