Pic de Garlitz
Altitude: 2798m
Situation:
French Pyrenees, near the Bielsa tunnel.
When to go:
From the beginning of July to the end of October.
Difficulties of the route:
The ascent is easy but a bit long on the normal route. It takes just over three hours to climb.
Complicated sections:
- By normal route, none.
Recommended equipment:
- Waterproof boots.
- Very useful poles, especially for descents.
- Sunglasses and sunscreen.
- Ice axe and crampons in winter conditions
Fastpacking is not about going faster. It's about going lighter.
