Hibrilaldiak: building bridges across the territory through hybridisation

Today we are going back a few months to show you some of the milestones in the gestation of the project. Territories by People.

An important point has been participation in the process. Hibrilaldiak Donostia / San Sebastian 2016 European Capital of Culture.

At Hibrilaldiak work is being done on hybridisation processes to face a challenge. We had a challenge and with the help of Unlikely connections we were assigned a person with a "different" profile to help us achieve this.

Our challenge was:

"To build bridges across the territory and reflect on the mountains as a working space for local populations and on how to contribute to rural development through creativity and innovation. Understanding villages as creators of landscape but also as part of the landscape".

And that is what we set to work on, with the help of Marc Badal (person with a different profile assigned to us), "graduate in Environmental Sciences and Master in Agroecology and Sustainable Rural Development, lives in different self-managed recovery projects".

And here he started with the help of Marc a mapping the whole of the Pyrenees in search of experiences and projects that would connect with the territory. from the perspective of social, civic and sustainable.

And so the idea of the journey took shape.... but we will tell you more about this in the following chapters.
