    I am doing well

    -by Jordi Soler-

I've been slacking for days, Bufff, what a shit. And as often happens to me, the grandeur of the mountains overwhelms me. A beautiful high mountain lake in front of us. We start to climb. I'm going well, I'm going well!

We have passed the pass and now the climb begins. One, two, three... up to twenty-five. Then I stop, take a few seconds to breathe and start again. One, two, three... My colleagues are very high up. They are going strong. Stronger than me.

I arrive with a companion at the first peak, a three thousand! We bumped fists. I put my rucksack on my back and followed the ridge. I stop, get some water and when I bend down I see the cliff between my legs, I get dizzy. I get dizzy. Hey, I'm not going on! I'm stuck. And we still have the horse pass. No. I turn back. Keep going. We'll meet you at the bottom. The colleague turns back with me. To accompany me. Out of solidarity, I think. Or because they don't trust me to come back alone.

Don't miss any adventure in the Pyrenees!
