I'm walking
-by Pilar Gonzalez Osma-.
I walk along, while my ears perceive the sound of the leaves swaying in the wind in contrast with the silence of the valley. A silence in which I enter and where I perceive the sound of the ice breaking in the small streams that wake up to the timid warmth that announces the spring.
I enter a small forest where I am intoxicated by the smell of the damp earth and continue along the path until I reach a half-frozen lake that majestically presents me with the mountain and the peak I want to reach.
My steps lead me hypnotised towards that impregnable mountain, overcoming the obstacles it places before me as a challenge, with the promise of a greater gift.
And as I touch its peak, I can feel an integral part of it. I can't think, I can only feel how an inner smile fills my soul and how I am filled with an absolute and brutal beauty.
