Aneto

I had been dreaming of such a feat for years,
sleeping on the roof of my world,
would arrive after the end of the ridge,
but I stopped to look at it for a second.

I sensed his big cross under the snow,
Standing there, it suddenly became clear to me,
I was dazzled looking at its relief,
I would not cross the bridge this time.

I dug a hole for my bed,
I put on all my warm clothes,
the lights on the ceiling jingled,
I was just thinking about being with you.

I opened my Gulden Draak to toast,
several shooting stars crossed,
All that remained was to sleep and wait,
to embrace each other again and make peace.
