SHELTERS AND HUTS

Huts of the World in the Pyrenees

We take a look at those huts around the world that inspire us so much...

What do these refuges transmit to you?... Peace, quiet, tranquillity... Adventure, exploration...
Arriving in a remote place and finding one of these small constructions, among trees, camouflaged, on the edge of a lake..., amidst the mist that rises from the water, and which gives it that mysterious touch.

And if we talk about these constructions in the Pyrenees... A fishermen's hut on the edge of the Bachimaña lakes, surrounded by 3,000 metre high mountains comes to mind... I could close my eyes and imagine, in a time of black and white, that same refuge, in the light of candles on a table, between a bottle of wine and pleasant conversation, while laughing and reminiscing about a day's fishing.
Today we have brought you this photo by Rob Strok, to inspire you a bit, and to prepare you for this question, Which hut in the Pyrenees should we visit?
