Situation:

French Pyrenees, at the head of the Gripp Valley, close to the National Park of Neouvielle.

When to go:

From the beginning of July to the end of October.

Difficulties of the route:

Not very difficult via the normal route from La Mongie (3h ascent).

Complicated sections:

• Not described.

Recommended equipment:

• Appropriate footwear, and gaiters appreciated.
• Very useful trekking poles.
• Sunglasses and sunscreen.
