Sergi Mingote dies after suffering an accident in the winter k2

This afternoon we learned the news through Desnivel magazine: the fatal accident of Sergi Mingote when descending from C1 on the winter K2. We were recently able to talk to him in this interview we published a couple of months ago, and we agreed to talk about it again when we got back. Peak or no peak, this is the news we didn't want to talk about. It was only a short time that we talked, but the mark you left on us was deep, like a footprint on virgin snow after a heavy snowfall. You left too soon, the time was not yet right, but at least it was doing what you loved. We will miss you.
