Lightweight but with sufficient weight on the head for good anchoring power
The upper part of the axle is curved to provide good clearance when climbing; the lower part is straighter and ensures effective penetration of the snow.
The pica pica is only 3 mm thick and is serrated at the tip, which guarantees a good anchorage on hard snow and ice; the pica pica pica is thicker in the centre to favour anchorage on soft snow.
Durable stainless steel shank for very good penetration in hard snow
The highly durable steel casing provides a comfortable standing surface and the design of the edges allows the steps to be cut efficiently in hard snow.
The head and spike are equipped with holes for attaching carabiners or for attaching a sling.
Anodised finish for excellent protection; handle is cut into the handle to create a better grip.
Ice axe compatible with Linkin leash (not included)
