Situation:
French Pyrenees, at the head of the Aspé and Lutour valleys, near the village of Gedre.
When to go:
From the beginning of July to the end of October.
Difficulties of the route:
Low difficulty on the Lutour valley route. Two hours ascent from the Estom refuge, which should be approached on the previous day.
Complicated sections:
- The final ridge is somewhat stony and aerial.
Recommended equipment:
- Suitable boots with crampons and ice axe if climbing out of season.
- Sunglasses and sunscreen.
