More days than sausages

Rain, sun and sweat. Rock, dust and laces. Early morning, road and coffee. Mountain companions, friends on the route and mountain group. Nerves on the edge of the skin, hands and feet with blisters.
Dreams, plans and goals.
Photos, laughter and anecdotes.
-There are more days than sausages," my friend Paco used to tell me when we had to close that longed-for window due to scheduling issues.
-Next time," I joked about how many times we had postponed the desired Cylinder.
When I look at the horizon where the Cabeçó d'or, an impressive mass that stands out from the 0 masl point, I can't stop thinking about the amount of projects to be done and inevitably, I remember the day I walked it today with my companions and friends, Juan Carlos and Paco.
That day, between sweating and conversations about projects I didn't understand, the irresistible poison of the mountain entered me.
