There's no good place to get it wrong

The planned time change is brought forward by a few hours.
A brutal blizzard. The lost path. No feeling in hands or feet. Boots smashed in a thousand falls. No warm clothes or gloves. Freezing to death. Everything seems wrong to me. Not here, no way! Not this either! What a shit! Horrible! I can't find the right place among these huge rocks to stop at once.
There's no good place to get it wrong.
