    Fear and happiness

    -by Adrian Espurz Redón

Are you sure? How can we possibly go through there? I keep repeating it in my head but I shut up, I'm not complaining. It seems very narrow, it's full of jumbled rocks, with edges and corners and there's a drop on each side of which you can't see the end. What if I slip, I'm sure I'll die.

I have to be brave, not give up, I've come this far and to go back now without touching the top would be a shame. Come on, let's go on, I'm scared but I don't want to stop, we've made it, we've arrived, I'm so happy! But we still have to go back. After all, I've heard that it's an easy peak, but of course, I imagine it will be easy when you're older and used to it, but jeez... I'm only 10 years old! If I've motivated myself to continue it's so as not to disappoint my father, I know he's very excited about it. I see him happy.
