Wise birds
-by Anna Paricio Tomás
To skimo, as in many things, the herd takes turns at the helm. You open the line with love, looking for balance and watching the shovel, which is like the back of the mountain. You ascend with love, because the last thing you want is for it to wake up and complain in the form of snow. If you get tired of that responsibility, you withdraw, and someone else takes over. This is what birds do when they migrate. They cross the skies in uves. The first reduces the impact of the wind on the second. And this second, the third. And so on. One of them gets tired, leaves the vertex and lets another one take that first contact with the air. I've been making my way through the snow for a while now. I move to one side, and stay behind. We reach the summit and then, yes, we descend free, like wise birds.

more fluid and enjoying every kilometre more.
