Bigger than me

When he opened his eyes he felt the pain in his body numb from the cold, he knew he had to get up.
Almost in the dark and without moving much, he lit the cooker and heated the last sachet of tea.
Judgmental and fatalistic thoughts came into his head. What the hell am I doing here? He sat up and as he opened the door of the tent everything faded away, consciousness and understanding embraced his body, his heart and his soul. She was where she was meant to be.
