Video: "Start your impossible", the armless man who climbed Everest.
Do you feel listless, unable to go out and fight day after day, do you feel like your dreams are far away? Well, that's how it felt Sudarshan Gautama Nepa-Canadian boy, went down in history for not giving up, he went down in history as a the armless man who climbed Everest.
Losing your arms in an accident must be tough, at least it was for Sudarshan who fell into a deep depression after losing his arms until he realised that he would achieve nothing there. One day he set himself a goal: to climb the highest mountain in the world and you know what? He did it.
After going through all sorts of tragedies: the losing arms Sudarshan went on to pursue his dream by getting electrocuted, being captured by the government for his rebellious spirit, becoming an important activist in Nepal and even appearing in a Bollywood film as an armless military man.
To reach the top of the world's highest mountain, Sudar had to sell his property, accept his father's sponsorship and scrape together all his savings to pay for the trip that put him at the start of a great adventure, at the southern base camp of the Everestfrom which point he would begin his ascent.
From there he set off with a team of 10 people to the so-called death zone, a part of Everest that is at such an altitude that oxygen does not feed the brain; there his team decided to return but he did not, he had a goal to achieve.
Step after step he did not stop climbing, fighting against the lack of oxygen and arms to hold on, he managed to reach the highest peak, the tip of Everest, where he saw not only his dream fulfilled, but also how the whole world was moved by his story of struggle.
The rest was history, for although his feat required the highest altitude helicopter rescue in history, it also served as a source of inspiration for those who knew him and those who didn't, proving that a dream can be achieved, as long as we fight for it. Now..., do you still think your dreams are impossible?
