    One of the shortest trails in YellowstoneThe park's meadows and woodland. Black bears and wildflowers often dominate the flora and fauna of this park.


    Fairy Falls

    Fairy Falls is one of Yellowstone's highest waterfalls - at 197 feet, the longest and most scenic route starts at Fountain Flat Drive.


    Grebe Lake

    A trail used primarily by fishermen and backpackers, the trail goes to Grebe Lake, which make up the headwaters of the Gibbon River system. Deer and moose are often seen along the trail and in the lake.

    Starting in a meadow, then climbing 80m up to a ridge and through burnt forest, the route offers excellent views of Mount Holmes and the Gallatin Range.


    Lost Lake

    An easy trail, which starts behind Roosevelt Lodge (Tower Junction), it enters the wooded hillside, coming to a fork, going west to Lost Lakewhich is approximately 0.5 km away.


    Monument Geyser Basin

    This is a short but steep hike, where you can see the breathtaking view of the meadows of Elk Park and the wandering river Gibbon leading to Monument Geyser Basina small geyser basin.

    If you start south of Bunsen Peak on the road Bunsen Peak or to the north, at the other end, you will travel about three miles along the road to reach the impressive trail Osprey Falls Trail.


    Specimen Ridge

    This trail takes us to the rim of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, then east, reaching the summit of Amethyst Mountain at 9614 feet.


    Storm Point

    This trail offers a good view of the lake Yellowstoneoff the beaten track.
    Starts from the parking area of Indian Pondthen down to the tree line until you get to the Storm Point.

    It starts at the Yellowstone River picnic area and climbs up to the eastern rim of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. There are some spectacular views of the Canyon and River from this trail.
