Located in the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park. An exciting and fun route through this deep scar with more than 80m at times. It will make us enjoy its narrows, jumps, dark and abseils throughout its route, wrapped in a spectacular play of light due to its narrowness, at times no more than a meter wide. One of the most spectacular and complete for the initiation or descend it with all the family.

How to get there

On the N-260 from Biescas to AinsaAfter passing the Puerto de Cotefablo pass, we reach the crossroads towards Torla and the Ordesa National Park, we descend towards the valley to reach Broto and then Sarvise, passing it and from where we take the turn-off that takes us to Fanlo. After climbing up to the village, we park at the crossroads at the entrance to the village.

You can also get there from Escalona. In Ainsa take the Hu-640 towards Bielsa, to reach Escalona and head towards Nerín through the lower gorge of Bellós to then reach Fanlo. From the crossroads, take a track in the opposite direction to the village that descends steeply to reach the Glera de Borruel and then descend to the left to reach the riverbed and the beginning of the gorge.

Approach

We take a dirt track that starts in front of the road that goes up to Fanlo, descending quickly to the bottom of the gorge that we can sense from the beginning (15min).

Descent

After "disguising" ourselves appropriately, we will enter directly into the gorge, almost like in a semi-subterranean world, losing the 13m of the first rappel, which will deposit us in a spectacular great vault carved in the rock after thousands of years and the darkness that will accompany us all the way down.

From here we will descend through a very narrow and vertical gallery in an atmosphere of gloom, negotiating dark jumps, jumps, jumps, corridors and slides, accompanied by the play of light created by the few rays of light that penetrate between the walls of the humid and narrow gorge of more than 70m at times. Once again, we will see the great spectacle that nature offers us in this deep and beautiful gorge.

With a good flow, the descent takes a different form, avoiding overflows and currents, especially in the last part.

Return

From the exit on the left-hand side, a path leads off that goes into the forest and climbs up to the track along which you entered the ravine. 30 min.
