TERRITORIES BY PEOPLE 'ON THE ROAD
We are already on the road with Territories by People. Many of you have been following us on this adventure that is taking us to exploring the pyrenees in search of stories of how people inhabit the land.
We wanted to know more about the reality of the Pyrenees first hand. And for this we have got into a van, to cover it kilometre by kilometre. So in this first edition of the tour we will reach the Valle de Hecho in two weeks.
We are being surprised at every step by an initiative, a project, an experience, one leads us to another. There is a 'bestial' richness all over the territory, and we are ready to fall with all our gear for many of them, to give them a voice.

We are broadcasting in the style of road movie in the networks. In our channels of Travesía Pirenaicabut above all you will have the day to day on the Territories by People channels. Here we leave you the facebookits instagram and the twitterYou are already fellow travellers!
We left last Saturday from Donostia-San Sebastianin the framework of the Itsasfestwhere we presented the project and set up our chiringuito as a way of interacting with people.
There we got into the van and set off on a journey that is bringing us a thousand and one anecdotes, interesting people, collectives, experiences... The richness of this journey is beastly! We have already said it, haven't we?
And we got to know the self-managed space of Lakaxite at Irun, Aldatsa Baratza at Hondarribiawe are approaching the art and music festival Baleapop at Saint Jean de Luz. And so ended our first day on the cross-border route.
The next day, we went to the Coll d'Ibardin to learn about the experience of Bidazi at Bera de Bidasoa. Meeting place from which emerged many new pins on the map of places and people to visit.
But we had to retrace our steps to visit the Rowing Club. Hibaika and listen to Igor telling us how they innovate in something as traditional as traineras.
Amarenak was waiting for us the next day in Donostia to talk to us about the passion she is putting into her project: rethinking the kaikus (traditional Basque costume) with new designs for the new times. And the afternoon took us to Etxalar to talk about agro-ecology with Aloña from EHKOlektiboa. But the day gave us much more, and in Lesaka we met up again with Gabri and enjoyed ourselves in his meeting place for artists and craftsmen, Bihotzkada Kolektiboa.
The next day was spent in Puerto de LizaietaWe met mountaineers doing the Senda Pirenaica. Aurelien, ornithologist Passionate, he spoke to us about the European heritage that every year I pass through this area, with every group of cranes, pigeons, storks...
But the journey has continued, and in ZugarramurdiMarifa told us stories of puppeteers and witches (the real one). In San Juan de Pie de Port we met Marc Vadal, to go and talk to Jon Harbouchet, a reference among the organic producers of Iparralde.
And now we are in the Aezkoa and this continues.
