One more night
-by Borja Donnay Bengoa-.
The night is still lying down and my brother and I start to light up the ascent.
Time has stood still as our boots adapt better and better to the frozen ground.
Dawn breaks over the snow-capped peaks and a faint whisper speaks of the sun to come and the rain to go.
My brother sinks to his knees. I just follow in his footsteps.
It's been a long time since we last spoke. A look can say so many things...
No one needs to look at a watch. Our eyes see enough.
The immensity traps us, it's just me and my brother. Us and our mistakes.
At last we are on the edge of the summit doing what we love the most; handicrafts.
A hug.
Now we descend on a tired sun and the hope of a moon full of dreams.
The night has come to an end.
I keep thinking of you
