At the foot of the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National ParkWith one of the best entrances to a canyon, two spectacular and aquatic rappel-waterfalls of 25m and 10m, over a mille-feuille shaped limestone formation, called Flysch, remains of the prehistoric seabed.

Jumps, slides in a tropical garden, and another 23m x 300m abseil, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in the area.

How to get there

In the Valley of Torla and Broto, in the Pyrenees of Huesca and at the foot of the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park. On the N-260 from Biescas to AinsaAfter passing the Puerto de Cotefablo pass, we reach the crossroads towards Torla and the Ordesa National Park, descending towards the valley to reach the village of Broto. Crossing the village after 1 km, we go up to the left on the road to Buesa. After a few bends, halfway along the first straight uphill stretch, where there is a track on the left, park. We go up the track for about 10 minutes until we reach the dam.

Approach

From the car, take the ascending track that will take you to the dam, heading north, the start of the ravine. From the middle of this access, we will sense the ravine that plunges 70m further down on our left. 10 min.

Descent

We enter the ravine by a handrail that places us at the foot of the dam and the beginning of another 9m handrail that places us at the head of several rappels. We will abseil to the badina to abseil another 10m. From here we can see the spectacular views of the two abseils over the Flysh and the vault formed by erosion over time.

We will continue through a green tropical garden, finding bear ears, king's crowns and a great variety of species unique to the Pyrenees. We will cross corridors between chiaroscuro to reach a drop of land that we will avoid with a 7m jump or an 8m slide that takes us to a hanging cliff that connects with a dry abseil of 18m or over the waterfall of 23m.

From this large cliff we descend over slabs in the form of a funnel that ends in a 5m slide that takes us down to the last cliff. The ravine opens up and in 50m we come out at the small car park next to the road from Broto to Sarvise.

Return

We finish on the road from Broto to Sarvise, from where we walk towards Sarvise (left) to take, after crossing the bridge, the GR15 which in 5 minutes takes us to the road to Buesa and in 5 more we go up to the car.
