Situation:
French Pyrenees, near the ski resort of Gourette.
When to go:
From the beginning of June to the end of October.
Difficulties of the route:
From the col, the ascent continues easily by the normal route, although there are numerous climbing routes to the summit. Three hours ascent.
Complicated sections:
- By normal route, none.
Recommended equipment:
- Waterproof boots.
- Very useful poles, especially for descents.
- Sunglasses and sunscreen.
